The annual wildebeest migration in the Masai Mara has been distinguished as one of the wonders of the World. This is because of the reason; the view of the animals is so stunning and tourists from all across the world visit Kenya just to eyewitness this. Advancement by the animals can be captured from burning balloon rides or even from the ground level. This offers one a chance to take astonishing photographs and videos of the natural world. However, this migration is not simply predictable as it mainly depends on the migratory rains. In spite of this the animals have maintained a reasonably constant progress which has been on documentation since the 1960's. With all the exhilaration brought about by this wildebeest migration, one bunch of people, the Masai do not share in the enthusiasm. This is because the wildebeest pose as a risk to their animals due to competition for grazing land. The Masai are also weary of the passage because with it comes a congregation of animal diseases that can be simply transmitted to their herds.
For anyone wishing to see this stunning event, accommodation is also available at any of the different camps in the Masai Mara. One however has to book in advance because throughout the months of June to October most of these camps are more often than not full. During this time many international and local travellers jostle for accommodation and those who don’t succeed to book in advance are left with no option but to wait for the next year to see the migration. Due to all these reasons Kenya safari is famous amongst tourists from all across the world and it’s on the wish list of all the wildlife travellers from all around the planet because of the scenic beauty it comprises of.
